Canadian Foundations: Grants to Charitable Arts & Culture Organizations

About Foundations:

Canadian foundations are charitable organizations registered with the Charities Directorate of the Canadian government.  You can find a foundation, its aims, contact information and annual returns at http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/charities/.  Most charities can only give grants to other registered charities, not individuals or non-profits who have not registered with the Charities Directorate as a charity.

The Action Research Exchange program is seeking research proposals from community groups. If you are interested in partnering with an SFU student to conduct collaborative research focussing on social and environmental change, you can submit an application online at www.sfpirg.ca/arx  in July each year.

 
Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage

The Program will increase opportunities, through festivals or other events and activities, for your local artists and artisans to be involved in their community and for local groups to commemorate your local history and heritage.
